ABOUT US

Ed Smith is part of a fifth generation Pittsburgh family and owner of Smith Coatings and Design. His father started working on homes in 1958, and Ed says he can't remember a day when he hasn't been learning from him about painting and renovation.

Ed and his partner, Elisabeth White, work together on projects including historic neighborhoods like The Mexican War Street, Allegheny (East and West), Manchester, South Shore and many others. Elisabeth has an interior design background and owns Rediscover Your Closet, a specialized service helping people make the most from their wardrobe and organizing their space.

In their free time, they enjoy hikes around the North Shore with their four rescue dogs, visiting State Parks, biking around the trails in Pittsburgh and skiing.
